Learn how to get involved with our excavations and become part of our international team of volunteers. To volunteer at Vindolanda you don't need any experience in archaeology but you do need to be enthusiastic, reasonably fit, over 18 or 16 and over accompanied by an adult and of course you'll need to have booked yourself a spot via our website!
