From the 1st November until 4th January (excluding 25th & 26th December) Vindolanda Fort & Museum will be open 10am until 4pm (last admission 3pm).
The Roman Army Museum is currently closed. This museum will re-open on 12th February 2022.
Our cafes and shops are available for museum visitors. Booking your tickets and an arrival slot is recommend (existing ticket holders and Friends of Vindolanda only need to book a free time slot). The booking system is now open, click on Tickets & Entry Slots button below when you are ready to book.
We have kept our Covid safety measures in place.
Please note we do not allow dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) on our site or at the Vindolanda Museum.
