In light of the 4-step plan to ease lockdown in England we are proposing to open our sites on the following dates:
Roman Vindolanda Fort & Gardens are now open. We also have take away refreshments available from the Vindolanda cafe and or shop is open too. Booking your tickets and an arrival slot is required (existing ticket holders and Friends of Vindolanda are only required to book a slot). The booking system is now open click on Tickets & Entry Slots below when you are ready to book.
The rule of 6 or two households will apply.
Please note we do not allow dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) on our site.
Tickets and booking slots can be booked now for visits after May 17th when both Vindolanda Museum and the Roman Army Museum will reopen subject to the Government advice. Please note if booking a visit before that date to Roman Vindolanda the museum will not be open but the Fort, Gardens, Cafe and Shop will be.
