Friends of Vindolanda

Did you know the Vindolanda Trust is a permanent research centre and the only one of its kind in Britain?

To help finance our excavations and share the knowledge we uncover, we have created a friendship scheme that brings you even closer to our work and supports our year round activities and research at both sites; Roman Vindolanda Fort and Museum and the Roman Army Museum.
-
Being a Friend of Vindolanda also has the following benefits:
  1. Unlimited visits to both Roman Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum.
  2. 10% discount on all shop purchases in our museum shops.
  3. An invitation to our annual Friends Day event. This year it is taking place on Friday 15th September 2023
  4. An e-copy of our annual Friends report

Joining us will help us to continue to research and preserve our work as part of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site for generations to come. As a Friend of the Trust you will always be especially welcome.
