Friends Evening

This event is a way to say thank you to all our Friends of Vindolanda members for their support and to share the news from across the Trust.

This is to give you advance notice that Friends gathering for 2024 will held on the evening of Saturday 22nd June. This event will take place at the Roman Army Museum, CA8 7JB.

There will be a tour of the excavations at Magna, chats with our archaeologists and a look around our new facilities fund by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The complete schedule for Friends Evening 2024 will be announced closer to the time.

If you are a subscribing Friend please make sure you have given us your most up to date email so we can keep in touch.

If you are not yet a Friend of Vindolanda you can become one! The Friends Membership comes with access to both Roman Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum, 10% discount in our museum shops (excluding alcohol), an annual update each December with our Friends report and an invitation to the annual Friends gathering.
