Our Tour Guide Register is designed for professional tour guides who regularly bring groups to Vindolanda and/or the Roman Army Museum. This provides free admission for the registered tour guide when accompanying a paying group. There will also be a 10% discount on admission for paying visitors accompanied by a registered tour guide. It is intended to support guides in delivering visits to our sites and is not for personal recreational use. To be eligible, applicants must: Operate through a recognised booking platform, tour company, or established guiding business. Regularly bring visitors to Vindolanda and/or the Roman Army Museum. Register to join our Tour Guide Registry below. Present photographic identification upon arrival. Please Note: This registration is non-transferable and may only be used by the named guide. Admission is granted only when accompanying guests on a tour. The membership does not provide free admission for family members, friends, or other accompanying individuals. The Vindolanda Trust reserves the right to review eligibility and withdraw membership if it is found to be used outside of its intended purpose.
