Recreating a Roman Roof

This summer our replica Roman kiln at Vindolanda is getting a new roof on the shelter. We are working with Potted History's Graham Taylor to recreate a Roman style roof.

To help us fund the roof we are asking for generous people to sponsor a roof tile, so in Roman terms you are actually sponsoring a imbrex and a tegula. Each one of the 100 roof tiles is being numbered and you will receive a certificate with the number of your tile on it and also a specially produced ceramic token (which could also be used as a coaster).
