Unique Conference Venue Open For Business
Far from the maddening crowd, in the North East's latest conference venue, businesses can find some peace to meet, work and play. Due to demand, the Vindolanda Trust has built a new conference centre with modest accommodation, adjacent to its Museum. In the summer, the 'Hedley Centre' will provide much needed overnight accommodation for archaeologists working on the excavations, and over Autumn, Winter and Spring it will accommodate business delegates from far and wide looking for a venue with a difference.
Fiona Watson in charge of marketing for the Vindolanda Trust said “we are really excited about what we can offer businesses across the region at the Hedley Centre. The facilities are top class, with all the latest technology available to businesses to hold effective meetings. At the same time they will be holding their meetings or conferences in a very rural area, virtually on Hadrian’s Wall and at the heart of a National Park. What better place to be inspired! We are now looking at what else we can offer our visiting delegates from inspirational lectures on how to think, fight and organise like a Roman, Roman menus and even walks and talks around the site. We are already taking calls from organisations interested in going somewhere rather original and different.”
